They are tiny 1/8" subtropical insects that come in 16 oz containers with media and will keep breeding for you if you provide fresh dried black-eyed peas their favorite. You can use mung beans too. The adults live for 10 to 14 days. The period of time for an egg to beetle takes up to 20 weeks.
